A Forbes 30 Under 30 Japan honouree, Steinway & Sons Artist, and ambassador for Apple Music Classical and CASIO, Sumino has performed with leading orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the New Japan Philharmonic under Joe Hisaishi. 

Returning to Singapore after his sold-out 2024 appearance, Sumino presents Chopin Orbit—a richly imagined programme centred on Chopin and set in dialogue with works by Adès, Saint-Saëns and Stravinsky. From the dramatic sweep of the Piano Sonata No. 2 and the brilliance of the “Winter Wind” Étude, to the haunting allure of Danse Macabre and the fiery virtuosity of The Firebird, the programme traverses a wide spectrum of colour and intensity.
